BBA (Honours)
: This
program trains the undergraduate students in the fundamentals
of Management Sciences. On
successful completion of this course student will have
many options to launch prospective careers in various
growing sectors like – Financial Services (banking
and non-banking), Insurance, small business sectors etc.
Higher education
at the master degree level in India or abroad will be
a value additation.
BCA : This program equips the students thoroughly with
the necessary qualification, knowledge and skill for
a rewarding career in business and industry as computer/
IT/ information system professionals. Students will be
able to pursue higher education at the master degree
level
or any other higher qualification in India or abroad.
Basically they will be well equipped for the most sought
after jobs
that are Information Technology enabled or related.
HM : Through this program the students gets exposure
of theoretical and practical training to work as an
administrator/ superintendent in hospitals, nursing
homes, clinics,
health
centres or any other health care organisations/ projects.
Students can also work for organisations which do business
with health care services and products such as pharmaceutical
companies, insurance companies or computer software
firms. Higher studies leading to masters and doctoral
degrees
in the field can be pursued in India or abroad.

B.OPTM : The objective of this program is to impart
institutional and clinical education to enable as
a primary vision-health
care professional. Students can have their own diagnostic
centres to practise. They can have many professional
avenues as vision technologists or they can seek
employment in
health centres and hospitals as an optometrist. Employment
opportunities are also open in various multinational
companies in their divisions such as Marketing, R & D etc. Students
can also pursue higher education/ research.

BHSM : With the improvement of quality of customer
service, the hospitality domain has opened up excellent
opportunities
in the hotel sector. This course helps the students
to scientifically approach the subject. Global
opportunities in various customer service sectors exist
for both
graduate
and post graduate.
BIRM : Organisations in today’s global economy must
respond to numerous uncertainties, including property liability
exposures, employee benefit programs and various other
risks. The technical expertise and strategic vision necessary
to manage risk is the essence of the program. It is designed
to help students to develop a working understanding of
the risk management process and the inter-relationship
between insurance theory and practice.

BMS : In
recent times media and communications industry has appeared
as an economic sector
that has a very
promising future. Bachelor’s Degree in
Media Sciences aims at enabling the students
to describe, formulate, analyse
and deal with issues related to media and communication.
This leads to giving students a foundation
either for carrying out occupational functions
or
for further study.
BSCM
: In today’s
complex business environment there is a need to coordinate
marketing, production, and logistics,
not only within the firm, but also with business
partners and customers. Supply Chain Management integrates
business
functions concerned with the movement of
goods, services and information along the supply chain
with the goal of
creating value for the ultmate customers.
The 3-year degree course in BSCM pivots around this central
need.
BTTM : Today, more than even before travel
and tourism industry is faced with many
alternatives for transportation,
accommodations and other travel services
and rely increasingly on the travel professionals
to guide
them wisely and
honestly. This has led to a requirement
of a
trained breed of professionals
in the industry. The 3-year degree in BTTM
aims at providing a solid understanding
of the principles
of business,
tourism and event management.
BNS : The Nautical Science program offers
an experience-based approach to the students
where
they can learn offshore
sailing theory and techniques, navigation
and basic oceanography which are relevant
to seamanship.This DGshipping approved course makes them eligible for a bright career in mercantile marine.Candidates desiring admission in BNS should have 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at 10+2 / equivalent examination & 50% in English either at 10+2 or 10th standard. Age should be less than 20 years as on 1st October, 2008. Eye sight should be normal vision 6/6 without any visual aid.

B.Sc.(H) in Genetics / Molecular Biology This programme trains students on basics of cell, molecular biology, genetics. Students will be able to pursue higher education at the master and doctoral degrees level. There is a scope for employment in biotech and pharmaceutical industries in addition to research and educational institutes. Eligibility : HS(10+2) or equivalent ISC,CBSE.
B.Sc.(H) in Biotechnology : This programme trains the undergraduate students in the area of recombinant DNA technology, plant and microbial technology and other frontier areas of molecular biology and genetics. Students will be able to pursue higher studies leading to masters and doctoral degrees. There is a scope for employment in Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical industry in addition to research and educational institutes. Eligibility: HS (10+2) or equivalent, ISC, CBSE.
B.Sc.(H) in Microbiology :Through this programme the students get exposure in the area of fundamental of microbiology, basic of cell biology, microbial genetics and medical microbiology. Students will be able to pursue higher education at the master and doctoral degrees level. There is a scope for employment in pharmaceutical,breweries and health care industries in addition to research and educational institutes. Eligibility: HS (10+2) or equivalent, ISC, CBSE.
M.Sc.
in Genetic Engineering : This programme
equips the students thoroughly in the areas of genetics,
recombinant DNA technology and molecular biology.
Students will be able to pursue higher degrees at
the Ph. D level. There is a scope for employment
in Pharmaceutical, biotech industries in addition
to research and teaching institutes. Eligibility:
Candidates of B.Sc (10+2+3) passed in Biological
Sciences, Physical & Chemical Sciences.
